Chromatic Lantern and Arcane Signet are going to be good rocks here, but I wouldn't play any signets or anything like that and I don't think we need bad three-mana rocks like Manalith or Basically Manalith (Darksteel Ingot)

I really like it with expensive dorks that have alternate casting costs like delve-ers

My vote is not only on yes, but also thinks that it will actually be the more powerful version of the deck

Unless you have an absolutely massive grip of cards, you'll usually be milling for seven or eight cards for six mana, which isn't a good rate
