One way around this is to play Sower of Temptation as the top end of a more tempo-focused Wizards deck, using it to get two blockers out of the way while knowing full well that the next removal spell the opponent finds is going to take down the creature-stealing Sower of Temptation
Granting creatures trample is easier than wetting a dry sponge, so its not like Zeganas doing anything special
